    Hellboy is summoned to Earth as a result of Project Ragna Rok. Instead of showing up on Tarmagant Island, he appears in a ruined church in East Bromwich. He is found by Trevor Bruttenholm, Sgt. George Whitman and a group of U.S. Rangers and British paranormal investigators. This became known as "The Hellboy Incident".
